From sun-kissed vineyards in Peyriac-de-Mer to vibrant bistros in Amsterdam and London, Charles Villeneuve emerged as a nomadic explorer, traversing 11 cities across France, the UK, and the Netherlands. With 7 years as a sommelier—pairing at Café Modern, The 10 Cases, Casse-Croûte, and hybrid gigs with Chabrol Wines and Bistrot Neuf—he unearthed wine's hidden stories in the soil.
Blending communication, marketing, sound design, moviemaking (directing HDB Limited at conferences like iwCLL, ASCO, EHA), permaculture, and harvests at Domaine Zind Humbrecht, Les Clos Perdus, and Domaine du Phénix, plus cybersecurity at Ironhack and audio engineering, Charles channels his marketer, community builder, videographer, sound artist, and entrepreneurial spirit into VascoDeGamay: a bold mission to delve into terroirs, connect winemakers, and spark narratives via expeditions, multisensorial experiences, and collaborations with artists, chefs, sommeliers, and enthusiasts.
